Location
Picturesque Lodge with roaring fire, Hubbard Park received landmark status in 2000. It is located on a nearly five-acre, 1,400 feet long strip of land between the Milwaukee River and the former Chicago and Northwestern Railroad that has now been converted into the Oak Leaf Trail. Park and take a short walk up the path to the lodge - take in the beauty and calm of the Milwaukee River in a surprising treasure that is Hubbard Park. The Lodge itself is operated by Lakefront Brewery and is host to many events, weekly fish fry and weekend brunch.
Parking
Parking stalls in the lot of Hubbard Park fill first come first serve. Street parking is available on Morris Blvd. There is a walk from the parking lot through a pedestrian tunnel to the beautiful park on a paved path to the lodge.
Dinner
Lakefront Brewery’s esteemed chefs have created a custom buffet menu for our fundraising event. The Buffet includes meat, vegetarian and gluten free options.
Fundraising GoalS
Make a Donation. New World Montessori does pay a transaction fee for each donation made via credit card. The standard percentage for transaction fee is 2.8% but does change. All proceeds after this fee go directly toward the 2020 fundraising goals. To avoid this fee you can make your donation by paying via cash or check made out to New World Montessori School.
The fundraising goal for 2020:
to purchase and provide a creative, safe and sustainable outdoor play structure and play spaces. Each classroom goes outside everyday so every child will use the play equipment for their growth and development. est cost with installation $34K
